Anti Slip Tape: The Only Slip up is Not Getting It

While some businesses may be cheaper than others in certain aspects and will always try to cut as much expenses as they possibly can, I can say with a hundred percent certainty that there really isn’t any company out there that wants accidents to happen on their premises. That’s because that would not only mean that the company is now vulnerable to all sorts of fun lawsuits, but that their factory or work setting in inherently hazardous to the safety and well being of their workers. This is precisely why even the more stingy companies will go out of their way to ensure that they have as much of their factory rigged with preventative measures against these types of situations as they can. And luckily, there are a large assortment of items that can help do just that, including one of the more useful ones – the anti slip tape.

What makes the anti slip tape such a useful item in any industrial setting is its large number of different applications and special properties. This special type of tape has a strong adhesive on the underside that makes it capable of reliably sticking just about anywhere, and a coarse, abrasive surface on the top to help the employees have a sure footing. It is of course incredibly durable both in terms of how much it can be tread on, and how long the adhesive will hold out throughout prolonged hard use.

The anti slip tape is most commonly used on stairs and placed at the end of each individual one as that is usually the place where a good foothold is needed. However, it is also at home on basically any metallic, ceramic or even stone path, or in areas that either get flooded frequently or are incredibly slippery by nature, either thanks to the materials they are made out of or external circumstances. Of course, they can be used in any place from the loading docks to commercial kitchens, and naming them all would take up too much space.

On top of it all, the anti slip tape is also incredibly easy to install. First, you have to clean the surface that you intend to place it on and make sure it isn’t wet and doesn’t have anything that might get in the way. Next, carefully place without bending or deforming it while being mindful of the strong adhesive. And finally, test its durability through liberal application of kinetic force (walking on it). That’s it, you’re done, and you’ve made the workplace a whole lot safer for everyone.
