Caravan TV: Enjoy a Family Film Night Even When in the Woods

It’s no secret we all need a little break from the same old same old, although most of us continue to ignore the fact that escaping the urban jungle from time to time can bring the much needed sparkle to our relationships and our working energy all in one. Finding peace and recharging our batteries should not be perceived as luxury only rich people can afford and whether we realize it or not, we desperately need to include more bonding with nature and more vacations in our lives.

That’s precisely why me, my husband and our five year old daughter try to escape the city madness at least once a month – we mostly prefer to get lost between greenery and fresh scents. Two years ago we bought a caravan, so whenever we feel the pressure of the big city, we load up on food and water and start a weekend journey into the unknown. We never actually plan where we’ll be stopping, so we usually choose the campsite when we’re already on the road.

During the day, all we do keeps boredom far at bay! Playing sports, exploring plants and chasing butterflies and insects in the woods and what not… It’s a real therapy for us, the adults and a great way for our daughter to discover the world around her. However, once the sun goes down and we’re all exhausted, we start missing our computers, TVs and tablets. It’s like technology has become such a big part of our lives, we can’t spend one evening without watching a film or playing some game on the phone.

The first few times we tried to ignore this fact and we gave all social games a try, however when we became too lazy to even play a card game we finally decided to get a Tv for caravans 12 volt that includes an electronic program guide available for digital channels, an HDMI input to plug our laptop in it and a DVD and Audio drive capability for a wide range of formats. Can you take a moment and imagine the relief we all felt when that TV was turned on for the first time in our caravan?

Now my daughter can watch all her favorite cartoons and shows before bedtime, so according to her “we should stay in the caravan for months or even years.” And contrary to our initial fears, the Tv for caravans 12 volt didn’t stop her from playing outside and enjoying nature. She barely even thinks about the TV during the day since she’s too busy smelling flowers and asking questions about all the insects and animals she encounters. But when she’s too tired to run around and explore, we sit down in front of the TV, because what’s better than a family film night, right?
